The Black Widow

The black widow spider carries poisonous venom that creates fever and illness in adults and can cause severe injury and even death to infants and small animals. It hides in water meters, attics, garages, basements, tool sheds, air conditioning units . . . pretty much anywhere it can be out of sight.

Treatment and Control:
There are over 35,000 species of spiders worldwide. In the United States only two spider groups are considered dangerous to humans, the black widow and brown recluse spiders. Dewey Integrated Pest Management (DIPM) protocol will effectively control both spider groups from a structure. Every other month (EOM) preventive maintenance is recommended.
